Donna's Journey

My journey is only beginning

Hello world!

“The journey of a thousand miles,” says Lao Tzu,” begins with the first step.” Even though that first step was taken a long time ago, I can say with Robert Frost that I yet, “have miles to go before I sleep.”

I invite you to join me on this journey, step off the conveyor belt, and share in my joy. Experience with me the transformation, as I complete my 5 Pillar Journey. Ah, but that journey is a journey of a thousand miles, and is not the end, but only a new beginning…

I completed my 5 Pillar Journey on 10 July 2006 with a delightful and enlightening opportunity to participate in my oral board. I thought that the process of preparing my summary was enlightening, bringing lessons to the forefront that I had not yet become aware of. However, my oral boards surpassed that and was truly transformational, bringing new clarity to my vision and mission.

I am now taking another journey. I call it my Journey to Zion. Stay tuned…

Donna,
I read your comments on Mentoring Our Own and was excited to see you start your own blog. I feel like I know you, which must seem strange to you, because you don’t know this Tennessee grandmother who used to homeschool all her five back in the 80’s, and so wishes she had known about TJed and had the fantastic support all of you offer one another. And so, I read everything I can and offer (when appropriate, which means “when asked”) all the knowledge and wisdom to my two daughters who are homeschooling. In the meantime, I’m beginning/continuing my journey with the classics and loving every minute of it. Thank you for all you offer. I’ve waited too long to say that.

I also wanted you to know that here in TN we have terrible allergy problems. Mine were as serious as everyone else’s until this year. The only thing I have done differently is start chiropractic treatment. I think it has helped. I also use products from Gifts of Nature. You may have heard of Zona and her products. I think she’s in southern Utah and is willing to talk with you on the phone about what you specifically need. Her number is 800-529-4715. Using her Super Aloe or Kalmin keeps me off Claritin, etc. Hope these suggestions may help your husband. Thank you again for all you do and for your willingness to share.
Kris

Thanks for all your thoughts on your blog. I visit it from time to time, and find myself refreshed. My home is my haven as well.
